School House System
The House system at Subodh Public School, Near Airport, Sanganer, Jaipur is based on the Panchtatva. The word Panchtatva originates from Sanskrit, where “Panch” stands for five and 'tatva' stands for elements. Thus, the school is divided into five houses, each named as: PRITHVI, JAL, AGNI, VAYU& AKASH
With a common goal of building a sense of unity and learning as a team, all houses strive to inculcate the most mindful values amid students. This is achieved through various inter-house activities and competitions in the field of sports, music, dance, dramatics, arts, public speaking, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Sciences and general knowledge.
Thus, through house activities, multitude of opportunities are given to the students to kindle their existing knowledge and absorb new learnings along the way.
PRITHVI HOUSE: Prithvi is the first of the five elements, the planet on which we live. They are the team who are very strong and courageous to face challenges and they are the bundle of wisdom. The green colour of the house symbolizes warmth, determination and passion which the students from this house display.
JAL HOUSE: Jal is like harmony and the integrity of truth. They are the people with positivity, hope and loyalty. The blue colour of the house highlights the values of tranquillity and reliability that each member must possess.
AGNI HOUSE: Agni is the Hindu God of fire. They are regarded as the friend and the protector of humanity. They safeguard and know the thoughts of all people. The red colour of house depicts harmony and optimism, which each child from the house showcases.
VAYU HOUSE: Vayu is the primary Hindu deity, the lord of wind and the power of Bheema. They are the one who spread joy and happiness everywhere. The yellow colour of house depicts the growth, liveliness and intellect that students of this house exhibit.
AKASH HOUSE: Akash means the basis and essence of all things in the natural world. It gives endless space and makes room for existence of all. The purple colour of house is commonly associated with royalty, luxury, creativity, spirituality, and wisdom, independence, and peace.
