ACADEMICS:

  • Board Result for the session 2017–18 was declared in May 2018. The total number of students appeared in class XII were 200 and the result is as per the following:

ACHIEVEMENTS AT INTERNATIONAL, NATIONAL, STATE, CITY LEVEL(S):

  • Class XII pass out students have brought laurels as:
  • Shivam Gupta ranked 2629 in IIT (Advanced) and joined IIT Kanpur.
  • Divyansh Natani stood up with 13778 Rank in IIT (Advanced).
  • Ayush Mathur scored All India Rank 40 in IISER (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research) and joined IISER Bhopal.
  • Ishu Gupta of class XI cleared NTSE (National Talent Search Examination 2018) conducted by NCERT. She is awarded with NTS scholarship of Rs 1250/- per month for her 11th and 12th class studies.
  • Tapish Jangid of class XII has become Black Belt and won Gold Medal at District level Karate Championship in 67 Kg category.
  • School Principal, Mrs. Kamaljeet Yadav visited an International Fair on Trade in Services at Beijing, China as a delegate from May 28 to June 01, 2018. It was a Service Export Promotion Council, setup by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India. During her visit she explored the possibilities of educational institutions to find opportunity for setting up world class educational institutions in India, explore educational needs of different educational system including ours and bridging the gap through partnership at different level.
  • School participated in Resource Mobilization for Humanitarian Causes and awarded with a trophy and a certificate for Excellence in Health Awareness organized by Indian Development Foundation. School Principal, Mrs. Kamaljeet Yadav was awarded with Social Action award for the same on September 10, 2018.
  • Protsahan 18, a 2-day Techno Scholastic festival was organized by JECRC University on October 30-31, 2018 for classes XI-XII. Students participated in the activities and won Trophies and Cash prizes:
  • Mann Ki Baat: Saumya Sharma (X) bagged II prize and won a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 5000/-. Simran Joshi(XII) bagged III prize and won a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 3000/-.
  • Inspire Series: A team of four students participated and bagged I prize and won a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 3000/-. The students are Nishtha Patni (XII), Rahul Sharma (XII), Vaibhav Sharma (XII), and Yash Arora (XII).
  • International Robotics Competition IRC-9 school league is aimed to promote R-ME (Robots in Missions and Expeditions) which organized competitions at different levels in which school participated in middle level.
  • Round 1was held at MGD Girls School, Jaipur, in collaboration with CNC Infotech on November 03, 2018 in which 14 students participated and bagged First position.
  • Round 2 held at Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka, West Delhi, on November 22, 2018, 3 students participated in the same, stood Second Runner-up and qualified for the Nationals.
  • Children’s’ Day was celebrated under Police Community Relationship on November 14, 2018 at Central Park, Jaipur, where 3000 students from different schools of Jaipur participated in a Cartoon Making Competition in which Tamanna Jangid (XI) won First Prize and was awarded with gift hamper worth 1500/-
  • A Quiz contest Philately was held at TPS, Shastri Nagar, Jaipur, on September 11, 2018. It was organized by P.O, Jaipur under Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojna of Govt. of India which was attended by 77 students of different schools. Two students Hemang Gautam (VIII) and Ajay Ghasal (IX) are selected for Philately Scholarship of Rs 6000/- for the year  2018-19.

 

SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS:

  • Rajasthan State Skating Championship 2018, organized by Rajasthan Roller Skating Association was held at Jaipur in the month of April. The following students won medals in different categories:
    • Manas Sabal (IX) bagged Gold medal in 500 m and Silver medal in 1000 m, under-16 boys’ inline category.
    • Yash Vaishnav (IX) bagged Gold medal in 1000 m and Silver medal in 500 m, under-16 boys’ inline category.
    • Daksh Raj Singh Chouhan(VI) bagged Gold medal and Silver medal, under-14 boys’ Quad category (500 m and 1000 m).
    • Mitul Meena (V) bagged Silver medal, under-12 boys’ inline category (500 m).
  • Jaipur District Roller Skating Championship was organized by Jaipur Roller Sports Association in the month of August. The following students bagged medals in 300 m Rink Race:
    • Lakshya Raj Singh Chouhan (IV) bagged bronze medal, under-10 boys’ Quad category.
    • Mitul Meena(V) bagged Silver medal, under-12 boys inline category.
    • Daksh Raj Singh Chouhan(VI) bagged gold medal, under-14 boys Quad category.
    • Manas Sabal (IX) bagged gold medal, under-16 boys’ inline category.
  • Asia Sports Championship organized by Asian Sports Federation (Affiliated by World Sports Federation) held at Katmandu, Nepal from November 23-26, 2018. The following students of school represented India Team and coined 3 medals out of 9 medals.
  • Manas Sabal (IX) bagged Silver medal.
  • Yash Vaishnav (IX) bagged gold medal, under-17 boys’ category.
  • Daksh Raj Singh Chauhan (VI) bagged gold medal, under-14 boys’ category.
  • Sameer Ahmad, Faculty (P. Ed) won award of Honour and was awarded with the ‘Sports Person of the Year’ by Asian Sports Federation.
  • Inter-School Volleyball Tournament was organized at Kapil Gyan Peeth School, Jaipur, in the month of September. School Volleyball Team (under-19 boys’ category) participated and bagged III position.
  • Protsahan 18, a 2-day Techno Scholastic festival was organized by JECRC University on October 30-31, 2018 for classes XI-XII. School participated in Football Tournament and bagged III position.
  • AU Bank organized Jaipur Monthly Marathon followed by 10x10 Century Run Challenge Medal Distribution Ceremony for Jaipur runners in which Suyash Sharma of class XII awarded with a medal and a certificate for completing 100 Km run.

 

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD:

 

  • St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, Russia invited schools to participate in the IV International Forum of Youth Social Initiatives “Just Act”. The objective of the Forum was to give the younger generation an opportunity to learn about the cultural diversity and national traditions of different people, to participate in the inter-cultural dialogue and to share their personal views on social events. The Forum was held in the form of a festival of video films. The theme of the festival was "The National Traditions: From History to Present". The school received appreciation certificate.

 

  • Indoor Board Games competition titled “Numicon Fun Learning Activity” was held on July 11, 2018. It included Chinese checkers (China), Sugoroku (Japan) and Snakes and Ladders (India). The students of Primary classes (I-IV) participated in it. The aim of the activity was to develop interest in students in Mathematics learning by Play way method.

 

  • Inter-House Dance Competition and other activities were conducted on August 14, 2018. The theme of the day was “Dance is an art – Paint your dream and follow it”. Dance performances included the folk dances of India and Russia to appreciate beauty of dance in these dance forms. These performances were judged by eminent guests of the day- Choreographer Mr. Pankaj Rao, Mr. Ajay Jangid and Fashion Designer Ms. Namrata Sharma. In continuation with the activity, students prepared Bulletin Boards and designed catalogues for jewellery and costumes of different dances of both India and Russia showing their creativity and originality of designs.
  • To raise awareness among people living sustainable lives and affected by climate change “Mother Earth Project” was encouraged by schools and communities around the world to create ‘Parachutes for the Planet’. There were 278 parachutes displayed worldwide in which 6 continents, 34 countries and 29 US states participated. Out of those the school stood at 23rd position.
  • A Gym Visit on the theme “Rest A While, Run A Mile For Healthy Smile” was conducted on October 11, 2018 to know and understand the importance of exercise and workouts to overcome the problem of obesity and other health problems during Adolescence. At Jaipur Gym, Instructor Mr. Nikhil Singhal had an interactive session with the students throwing light on the usage of Gym Equipments and significance of physical and resistance training exercise (exercising with weight) on regular basis. An exhibition on the same theme was organized on October 20, 2018. In this activity; students showed value of health through various models. Parents and students took keen interest in having a glance of it.
  • An Exchange Programme on Language diversity was held on October 18, 2018 in which e-mails showing the pictures of skit presentation based on language diversity were exchanged with the partner school in Pakistan. The aim of the activity was to teach students about language diversity in different regions of Pakistan and India. It helped students to understand the importance of language in making relations with other countries and for the development of an individual to country.
  • Video Conference was held on November 06, 2018, with partner school in Moscow (Russia) under ISA cultural exchange program. The topic was “Dance is an Art: Paint your dream and follow it”. The objective of the conference was to educate students about importance and significance of different dance forms with the costumes, jewellery and props of both the countries.
  • Students participated as active audience in musical festival “The Musical Stage” hosted by JKK (Jawahar Kala Kendra) on November 03, 2018. The main highlights of the programme were the performances by national and international artists. The international artists Gene Peterson and beat boxer Tom Thum from Australia were the main attractions who performed in collaboration with Rajasthani artists. The concert started with the mesmerizing performances by Langa and Mangniyar musicians of Retila band. 25 students with their parents and teachers attended the Music Concert.
  • A group of 30 students visited Albert Hall Museum under the ISA Project – “Museums – Untitled Treasury of Generalizations” on December 04, 2018. It is one of the well-known museums of India and the students found a great collection of wonderful artifacts there including paintings, jewellery, carpets, ivory stones, metal, gems, beautiful coins etc. An Egyptian mummy and building architecture were interesting and educative for the students, as they understand a lot about the history and culture of our country.

           

 

NCC/ SCOUTS/GUIDES:

  • Himachal Nationl Trekking Event was organized by NCC, Delhi Headquarter, from June 01-11, 2018, which was attended by two NCC cadets – Rashi Mahor(X) and Khushhali Soni(X). They successfully completed the trekking event of 65 km with adventure activities. They were awarded with National Level Certificate.
  • Thal Sainik Camp(TSC) was successfully completed in three months started from June to September, 2018, by Two NCC cadets – Jhanvi Sharma(X), and Muskan Choudhary(X) with their participation in five rounds of shooting camps at District, State level and National Level Camp held at
  • 12 Proud Guides of school successfully completed State Level Governor’s Award Training Camp held from September 01-05, 2018 and Testing Camp scheduled from October 24-26, 2018, at Division Headquarter, Bharat Scouts and Guides Banipark, Jaipur. They are now eligible for and pursuing National Level Award i.e. President’s Award in Guiding.
  • Avinash Jain PGT (Economics) is serving as Assistant NCC Officer (ANO) and was appointed as Instructor for Pre Republic Day Camp from October 21-30, 2018, by NCC Headquarter, Jaipur.

 

CO – CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES & CELEBRATIONS: -

  • World Health Day was celebrated on Saturday, April 07, 2018 on the Theme – Health for Everyone, Everywhere. Various activities were organized by Health and Wellness Club for classes I-XII. For Primary classes Fruit salad and Sprout salad activity was conducted. For junior and senior classes: quotation writing, article writing, cartoon depiction, logo designing, calendar designing were conducted.
  • 14th School Raising Day was celebrated on Friday, April 13, 2018. The NCC, Scouts, Guides, participated in the March-past which was followed by Dance Presentation. Students enjoyed Balloon Blowing Activity during Morning Assembly. Young Creations club and Rhythms club organized various activities viz Pencil Top Designing, Clown Face Mask Making, Message Card Designing, Miniature of Flower Basket and Bouquet, Brooch Designing and Miniature of Cake Designing.
  • World Earth Day was celebrated on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Maths Club organized activities viz Globe making with slogans and dialogues for classes VI-VIII, a documentary on “Water Scarcity” was shown to IX- X classes, an Inter-House Hand Painting Competition was organized on the theme “Save Environment”.
  • World Book Day was celebrated from April 23-26, 2018. Readers’ Club organized a tail of events for classes III-XII. The celebration started with ‘Story Narration Activity’ for classes III to V. The occasion was graced by around 45 grandparents. ‘‘Story Writing Competition’ for classes VI to VIII was organized where the students worked on different themes. Extempore Competition was conducted for classes IX-X which was judged by Mr. M. K. Anand, Director, ‘Let’s Talk Institute’. Inter-House Debate Competition for classes XI-XII was there on the topic ‘Facebook is Like a Detective chasing you all 24x7, which I like/don’t like’. Ms. Shailaza Singh, an author, a poet, an editor – Neelkanth Publication and Ms. Ritu Dutt, North Response Edit Head were the judges for the competition.
  • Labour’s Day was celebrated on Tuesday, May 01, 2017. Various activities were conducted by Udaiman Club for ushering Staff members like games and poetry recitation. A song was presented by by one of the ushering staff on Social Awareness Theme “Save Water, Save Environment”. They were given a gift as a token of thanks.
  • Red Cross day was celebrated on Tuesday, May 08, 2018. Various activities were organized by Eco Club for classes I-XII which included First Aid Box making, Personification, Pla Card making on the theme “Emergency Services- Ambulance, Fire Station, PCR, Hospital and Animal rescue”, Logo designing on the theme “Emergency Response Units”, Documentary presentation and wall painting on the theme “Red Cross- mobilizing the power of humanity”.
  • Mother’s Day was celebrated on Friday, May 04, 2018. Babbage Club conducted various activities like Card Designing through MS Paint for classes IV-V, Digital Card /E - Card Designing using MS Word and PowerPoint for classes VI-VII. Collage making on the theme “Me and My Mom” for classes VIII-IX, PowerPoint making on the topic 'Role of Mother in Life' for class X.
  • International Yoga Day was celebrated on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Yoga and Surya Namaskar were exercised during assembly by students of classes VIII–XII. Importance & Advantages of Asan(s) were also demonstrated.
  • World Population Day was celebrated on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 on the theme “Family Planning is Human Right”. Various class activities were conducted by Health and Wellness Club like for classes I-V Documentary Presentation; Poster Making for IX-X and a Skitwas presented during assembly by students of classes VI –VIII.
  • Malala Day was celebrated on Thursday, July 12, 2018. It is celebrated across the world in connection with the birthday of famous Female Education Activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. Special assembly was conducted in the school in which students read out the thought and news related to Malala and her work. An act depicting the journey of a simple girl Malala to a Nobel Laureate and an iconic personality for youth was shown by the students. Her famous speech given in UN after winning the Nobel for Peace was depicted through personification. Students pledged to support her cause for human kind.
  • Sapling Plantation activity was conducted on July 14, 2018 to sensitize students towards environment and inculcating a habit in them to plant trees.
  • International Tiger Day was celebrated on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Speech, facts about tigers and enactment was presented on stage. Students of classes VI - VIII participated in Stamp Designing, Poster Making competition on the theme 'Save the Stripes'. Display Boards decoration was also conducted on the topic 'Cause an Uproar to Save Tigers' in which students of classes IX & X participated and decorated the soft boards.
  • Germination Day was celebrated on Saturday, July 28, 2018. The seeds of various crops like Wheat, Coriander, Lobia etc. were put into moist soil in pots by the students. This was done to get seeds germinated in few days. Students of Pre-Primary classes were told about this natural biological activity.
  • Friendship Day was celebrated on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Young Creations Club and Rhythms Club organized various class activities for classes I-VIII viz Friendship Band Making, Pop Up Greeting Card Making, Paper Flower Making, Finger Puppet Making, Book Mark Designing and Frames with Quotes.
  • Independence Day was celebrated in school on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 with full energy and patriotism. Hon’ble Chief Guest, Justice Mr. Munishwar Nath Bhandari (Rajasthan High Court) unfurled the Tricolor. Meritorious students were felicitated. There were cultural events after motivational speeches from dignitaries.
  • Rakshabandhan was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Rakhi making activity for classes Nur-V was conducted in classes and students of classes VI-X made Rakhi and wrote letters of wishes which were sent to Soldiers.
  • The new student council was assigned its duties in an Investiture Ceremony on Thursday, August 30, 2018. The student council members were conferred with sashes and badges by the School Principal, Mrs. Kamaljeet Yadav. The flag, a symbolic representation of their determination to carry out the duties vested in them, was handed over to the new Student Representatives for the academic year 2018-19.
  • Freshers’ Party for Pre-Primary was organized on Friday, August 31, 2018. New comers came dressed in colourful attires and were happy to perform dance and cat-walk. They presented their skills in a very energetic manner.
  • Janmashtami was celebrated on Saturday, September 01, 2018 with great pomp and festivity in the school. The two Day event was conducted by Mudra Club in which various Inter-house competitions were organized for classes VI-XII. Activities viz Crossword, Flute Making, Matki Decoration and Crown Making were conducted the first day. The next day, the glorious and energetic event 'Dahi Handi - Inter House Matki Tod competition' and 'Shringaar competitions were organized in which participants prepared tiny tots as Radha and Krishna.
  • Teachers' Day was celebrated on Wednesday, September 05, 2018. Students presented dance and organized games in which teachers energetically participated and enjoyed the day.
  • Surgical Strike Day was celebrated on Saturday, September 29, 2018, to commemorate the valour and sacrifice of the armed forces. Various activities took place to celebrate this day viz. personification of Indian leaders and chief of armed forces, Rally by NCC, Scouts and Guides, letter writing for soldiers and movie on surgical strike was shown to the students.
  • Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti were celebrated on Tuesday, October 02, 2018. Various activities were conducted in the assembly viz. a Prarthana Sabha that integrated all the religions through their prayers, group song, speech, and personificaton. To promote "Clean India" movement; students gave their contribution by cleaning the school campus and ground. By doing this, they spread the message of giving one’s helping hand in the movement wherever you are.
  • Farewell party on the theme “Dandiya” was organized for class XII students on October 17, 2018. Class XI students bid adieu to their seniors by giving best wishes to them for their future. They presented dance and song and organized games. The Principal passed on the light of wisdom and gave titles which boosted them up for their upcoming exams.  Tapish Jangid and Prachi Dhanawat were bestowed with the titles Subodh and Ms. Subodh respectively.
  • Show and Tell activity was conducted for pre-primary kids on Monday, October 22, 2018. The activity aimed to build up confidence among tiny ones and to boost up their presentation skills. Tiny-tots showed their full confidence and presentation skills. They presented themselves in school assembly very effectively.
  • Diwali Celebration was organized in school on November 02, 2018. The following class activities and Inter House Competitions were conducted for classes I-XII viz Greeting card making, Diya Decoration, Floating Candle- Pot Decoration , Door Hanging , Paper Bunting Making, Chandelier Making , Flower Rangoli, Mobile Rangoli, Bandanwar Making, Colour Rangoli , Mandana and Gel Candle Making Activity which were displayed for the students.
  • One Nation Reading Together activity was organized by Readers’ Club in collaboration with Scholastic India Pvt. Ltd. Various stage and class activities were organized for classes Nursery to XII on November 30, 2018. Mass Reading for 20 minutes took place in the assembly in which all students, teachers and ushering staff participated.
  • Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on December 01, 2018. Tejaswini Gautam, Deputy Commissioner of police, Jaipur (Chief Guest) and Mr. Anil Kumar Gokhroo, Convener, SPS Airport graced the occasion with their benign presence. The celebration commenced with Subodh Welcome Song, Nukkad Natak on 'Road Safety' and Russian dance performance. The chief guest, Convenor and The Principal of the School felicitated the awardees for various competitions viz. Inter-School, Inter-House, Intra- class, Sports, National and International Olympiads.

 

VISITS AND EXCURSIONS

 

  • A six day tour to Dehradun and Mussoorie was conducted from September 28 - October 3, 2018. 97 students from classes XI –XII accompanied by six teachers of school went for the journey. Various places were visited during the trip viz Buddha temple, Forest Research institute, Sahastradhara,  Mussoorie Lake, Mall road of Mussorie, Adventure Camp, Kempty Fall. It was a wonderful learning experience for students to gain and explore different places.
  • A visit to Virasat Restaurant under the theme “Virasat – Itihas se Mulakat” was conducted on October 6, 2018. It was organized by Credent Magazine with the aim to make the students aware about the rich culture of Rajput society and Rajwara System.
  • A fun filled outing was organized for classes Nur-prep at Akshay Patra on October 6, 2018. Students were amazed to see the architecture of the temple and experienced the beauty and peace of the place.
  • An entertaining picnic was organized for classes I-V at Sunrise Resort on October 6, 2018 where students enjoyed with their friends and had a fun frolic day.
  • An enjoyable outing was organized for classes VI-VIII at Kanchan Kesri Resort on   October 13, 2018. Students were pleased and entertained by experiencing swimming pool, water slides, swing and slides and some indoor and outdoor amusement facilities.
  • Field Survey at Buddhsinghpura village was conducted on October 29, 2018 for class XII(Humanities) students. The aim of the survey was to interact with the people living there to acquaint with their living styles, problems associated with that area, and the possible solutions.
  • To spread the true joy and happiness of the Diwali festive season; school team visited special school AKANSHA and donated some eatables. It was a contribution in the noble cause of helping each other.
  • An Educational Tour to Delhi was conducted from December 13-14 2018. 67 students from classes VI-VIII accompanied by six teachers of school went for the journey. Various places were visited during the trip viz. Qutub Minar, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, Lotus Temple, India Gate,

 

 

NEW ADDITIONS:

  • School enhances its security by installing 117 CCTV cameras at all vulnerable areas in their premises and ensures that they are functional at all times. This is done to safeguard safety and security of students.
  • School has started with “Aahar Club” which was inaugurated by the Principal Ms. Kamaljeet Yadav on October 30, 2018. First session of the club was taken by 4 members of College of Hospitality Administration (CHA) along with Chef Tanvi and Chef Chanchal for the students of classes IX-XII They were introduced with tempting and mouth watering dishes were made to write the recipes and cook themselves with the help of chefs.

 

 

CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME:

 

A Capacity Building Programme was organized by CBSE on the following topics:

 

  • Classroom Management, held at Delhi Public School, Jodhpur on September 22-23, 2018. Kamaljeet Yadav (Principal), as a Resource person conducted the programme with the aim to equip teachers to keep students focused on learning while preventing disruption from slowing the learning process.
  • Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies, held at Rukmani Birla Modern High School, Jaipur on October 22-23, 2018. It was attended by Poonam Sharma with the aim to focus the inclusion of children with special needs in the classroom with the other children.
  • Life Skills, held at Tagore Public School, Shastri Nagar, Jaipur on November 17, 2018. It was attended by Ms. Shilpa Jain with the aim to assimilate and appreciate the importance of life skills and encourage students and teachers to develop their skills like Self Awareness, Problem solving, Critical Thinking, Social and Emotional Skills.
  • Empowerment of Teachers in the Area of Economics, held at Edmund’s School, Jaipur on November 26-27, 2018. It was attended by Mr. Avinash Jain with the aim to assimilate and appreciate the importance of Economics nurturing the needs of the students both academically and emotionally.

 

 

WORKSHOP / SEMINAR / GUEST LECTURE:

  • A workshop on Blue Pottery and Mughal Architecture was held at Neerja Blue Pottery, Jaipur, from April 11-12, 2018. It was attended by 15 students along with Ms. Sheetal Jain (faculty Art & Craft). The aim of the workshop was to promote the art of blue pottery. Students came to know about the process, designs and its art. They themselves created the designs on tiles on the theme “Mughal Architecture”.
  • A workshop on Syllabus Update – Accountancy 2018 was held at MPS, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, on April 21, 2018. The workshop was organized by Sultan Chand & Sons which was attended by Shilpi Sharma, PGT (Accountancy) with the aim to discuss the latest change in syllabus of accountancy by CBSE.
  • A workshop on Gender Sensitivity was held at MPS, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, on April 26, 2018. The workshop was organized by CBSE which was attended by Sangeeta Mathur, PRT (S.Sc) with the aim to provide appropriate teaching and learning materials that inducts the education in imparting gender sensitivity, pedagogy and the importance of girl education.
  • A Video Conference held on June 01, 2018 between the students of Subodh Public School, Airport and SIES Altiero Spinelli, Italy. The Topic of discussion was “Essentials of Dialogue”. 20 students from each school enthusiastically participated in the discussion.
  • A Leadership Training Camp was organized in school by R. Pai Foundation jointly with Forum of free enterprise, Mumbai, on July 12-13, 2018. The facilitators were MR. Vivek Patki and Mr. Sachin Kamath. The purpose of the camp was to develop students’ personality and inculcate leadership skills. Various sessions took place in two days viz Setting and Achieving Goals, Study Smart, Power of Habits, Effective Communication, Coming Together –A Beginning, Understanding Self and Others.
  • An orientation on Career Counselling was organized on July 17, 2018 in school for classes XI- XII by Global Reach. Resource Person Mr. Pawan Solanki , entrepreneur and a full time counselor at Global Educare Consultants Pvt. Ltd. focused on various courses available abroad with fees and total cost involved. He was assisted by Mr. Hulash Goyal. Students were informed about various career options available abroad after completing education.
  • Sitare Foundation, an NGO organized an interactive session on July 20, 2018. This NGO works for education of under privileged students. Mr. Amit Singhal and Mr. Vikram Ahuja founder of Sitare Foundation interacted with parents of those students, who are studying in Subodh Public School, Airport. Students of TIS (Tagore International School) also joined the event. School is contributing actively in this noble cause.
  • A workshop on Dealing with Failures–Developing Resilience in students was held at MGD, Jaipur, on July 25, 2018. The workshop was organized by Institute of Counselor Training Research and Consultancy which was attended by Dr. Avanti Gupta, PGT (Psychology) with the aim to nurture, optimize and develop growth, mindset and methods to promote “resilience“in classrooms.
  • A workshop on Changes in Curriculum of Accountancy and Business Studies was held at Edmunds' School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, on August 18, 2018. The workshop was organized by Commerce Teachers’ Foundation which was attended by Ms. Ritika Jain, PGT (Accountancy) with the aim to discuss the latest pattern of Board exam paper, weightage of different chapters and emphasis on NCERT books.
  • A workshop on Catch Them Young was held at Edmunds' School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, on August 24, 2018. The workshop was organized by MIIC (MIIC innovation and incubation centre) which was attended by Ms. Pragati Kaushik, PGT (Entrepreneurship) with the aim to convince, to help students realize, promote, nurture and showcase their knowledge based innovation and entrepreneurial talent.
  • A workshop on Building Young Entrepreneurs was organized by TIE Rajasthan, Janpath Lalkothi, Jaipur, on August 31, 2018 which was attended by Pragati Kaushik,  PGT (Entrepreneurship) with the aim to encourage entrepreneurship skills amongst young minds and to provide information regarding the same as how to apply business plan and what it should include.
  • A workshop on RTM-E Presentation (Revolutions, Travelogues and Movements) was organized by The Palace School, Jaipur, on August 31, 2018 which was attended by Ved Prakash, PGT (History) and Ms. Neelam Thadani, TGT (Computers). Vedik Bairwa of Class XI F presented his PPT on the topic Ralph Fitch's Travelogue.
  • A workshop on Traffic Safety was held at SV Public School, Jaipur, on September 8 , 2018. The workshop was organized by "Muskan- for Road Safety" which was attended by    Chitralekha Sharma, Faculty (Music) with the aim to pay tribute to Road accident victims and make the students know the traffic rules and how they can be taught to others. The school launched a song on Traffic rules and a condolence song.
  • A Seminar was conducted on Product Launch of my Pals are Here on September 22, 2018 at Hotel Radisson Blue, Jaipur organized by NGURU (NIIT) which was attended by   Nidhi Ajmera, PRT (Maths) and Ms. Preeti Rastogi, PRT (Maths) with the aim to introduce new pattern of teaching in Maths series based on Singapore methodology.
  • A Seminar was conducted on Sensitization on Comprehensive Manual for Safety and Security of Children in Schools on September 25, 2018 at Kanoria College, Jaipur, which was organized by "National and Rajasthan commission for protection of child rights". The workshop was attended by Mr. Avinash Jain, PGT (Economics) with the aim to spread child rights' literacy among various sections of society and promote awareness and safeguards available for protection of these rights through publications, media, seminar and other available means.
  • An orientation on Developing Exemplary Questions in Business Studies was organized by S V Public School, Jaipur, on September 26, 2018, which was attended by Neha Sukheeja, PGT (B.St) with the aim of classroom learning, interaction and different methods of teaching topics in an interesting way.
  • A workshop on Special Need - Know Yourself was organized by The Palace School, Jaipur on September 29, 2018 which was attended by Rakhi Joshi, PRT (S.Sc) and  Mr. Amit Sharma (Special Educator) with the aim to provide new methods of teaching, ways of learning through audio- visual and kinesthetic skills.
  • A workshop on Debating Skills was held at S V Public School, Jaipur, on October 6-7, 2018. The workshop was organized by "A Responsible Citizen Foundation" which was attended by Samiksha Jain, PGT (English) along with three students of class X with the aim to improve debating skills of the students.
  • A seminar on Mother-Daughter Hygiene Programme was held in school on October 09, 2018. It was organized by “Procter and Gamble”. The workshop was attended by girls of classes VI-VII with the aim to build hygiene related awareness among young girls and cope up with the changes occur at adolescent stage.
  • An Interactive capacity building session on Role of Private Schools was organized by “Azim Premji Foundation” on October 11, 2018 which was attended by Pooja Agnihotri, TGT (S.Sc) with the aim to make the members of foundation know about the functioning of private schools, role of a  teacher, challenges faced by them and students' learning process.
  • A seminar on RTM-E Presentation 2018 was held at CBSE office, New Delhi, on  October 12, 2018 organized by "The City Palace Museum Trust" which was attended by   Ved Prakash, PGT (History) and a student with the aim to submit the RTM- E project DVD on the topic Ralph Fitch (First English man in India) which was assigned to school. The DVD containing the PPT was presented by Vedik Bairwa of class XI (Humanities) to the chairperson of CBSE.
  • A workshop on Python Programming was organized by Delhi Public School, Jaipur, on October 13, 2018 which was attended by Nidhi Mishra, PGT (I.P.) with the aim to discuss the changes in curriculum done by CBSE in the subject Informatics Practices for class XI. It was a training programme to impart the practical knowledge of Python Programming and get familiar with the changes done.
  • A workshop on Robotics was held in the school on October 15, 2018. The workshop was organized by "CNC Infotech” with the aim to instruct and guide students to develop skills in robotics.
  • An orientation on Developing Exemplary Questions in Business Studies was organized by Edmunds' School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, on October 15, 2018 which was attended by Ms. Neha Sukheeja, PGT (B.St) along with two students of class XII with the aim to frame the case studies, crosswords and scramble words on various topics of Business studies.
  • A workshop on Setting Up INTACH Heritage Clubs in Schools was held at S V Public School, Jaipur, on October 23-24, 2018. The workshop was organized by "The Heritage Education and Communication Service“ which was attended by Ms. Vasudatta Sabal, TGT (S.Sc) and Ms. Mamta Surana, TGT (S.Sc) with the aim to inculcate awareness and appreciation of the heritage of your city, state and country. It motivated teachers to use appropriate resource material in classroom teaching and start Heritage Clubs in schools.
  • A workshop on Robotics was held at M.G.D Girls School, Jaipur, on October 26, 2018. The workshop was organized by CNC Infotech which was attended by Ms. Anita Chopra,    TGT (Science) along with 14 students of classes VI-IX with the aim to introduce programming to students, learn about Science, Engineering and Maths and get an understanding of how these subjects can be linked together to make a Robot.
  • A workshop on Mathematics was held at Gyan Vihar University, Jagatpura, Jaipur, on October  28, 2018. It was attended by Mr. Arvind Chhipa, TGT (Maths) and Mr. Kapil Gupta, TGT (Maths) with the aim to arouse curiosity among students, to create love for Mathematics and to show how to approach Mathematics problems.
  • With reference to CBSE circular, school celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on October 30, 2018 to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. School conducted pledge ceremony during assembly. Slogan and Poster making activity was organized for classes VI-VIII and students participated in 'Run for Unity' campaign. The occasion provided us an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country.
  • A workshop on Career Counselling - Symposium was organized by ICTRC and G.D. Girls School, Jaipur, on October 31, 2018 which was attended by Mr. Deepak Agarwal(Vice-Principal)and Ms. Mamta Tiwari TGT (English) along with 30 students of class XII with the aim to provide opportunity to the students to obtain unbiased and authentic career information and also to equip them with the knowledge of the scientific process of choosing careers and courses.
  • Airport Authority of India, Jaipur, conducted a Nukkad Natak on November 01, 2018 at Airport to celebrate vigilance awareness week on the subject “Eradicate corruption – Build a New India”. Nukkad Natak was performed by 13 students of classes VIII-IX.
  • A workshop on Creation of Innovative Content on Classroom Teaching for Uploading on Diksha Portal was organized at S V Public School, Jaipur on October 30, 2018 which was attended by Ms. Nidhi Mishra PGT (P). The aim of Diksha was to provide a platform for teachers where they can prepare explanation videos for the content covered under curriculum of classes I to XII. Teachers whose contribution of content will be selected for upload on DIKSHA will be duly recognized by assigning due weightage in selection Criteria of CBSE Teachers Awards finalized henceforth by CBSE. Further, these teachers may be chosen to be a part of CBSE’s national content creation team.
  • A workshop on Theatre and Mime was organized by Jaipur Sahodaya Fest at Delhi Public School, Jaipur on October 31, 2018 which was attended by Mr. Vijendra Singh Nirban, Faculty(Theatre) along with 6 students of classes IV-V with the aim to provide a creative platform that encourages students to express, innovate and explore beyond the boundaries and release their hidden creative energies.
  • A Video Conferencing took place with Creative Kids School and College, Pakistan and Dwarka International School, Delhi in collaboration with Face to Faith Foundation on November 14, 2018 on the topic Hate Speech. The students of both the countries admitted that the greatest religion is Humanity. Instead dividing ourselves into different religions it’s better to understand that no religion teaches us to disregard anyone. We can change the people by making them understand through the religion of humanity.
  • Katha Utsav Regional Writer's Workshop was organized on November 17-18, 2018. Out of 11 students 7 were selected for it. 3 students Nikita Raina 12, Tanisha Meena 11, Nikhil Gupta 8 D) out of 7 went to Delhi to attend the workshop. Nikhil Gupta is selected for National Writers’ Workshop.
  • A workshop on Emerging Computer Technologies was organized by PM Publishers on November 17, 2018 at Jaipur Marriot Hotel, which was attended by Ms. Kamaljeet Yadav, (Principal) and Ms. Nidhi Mishra, PGT (P). The aim of the workshop was to acquaint the teachers with different Emerging Computer Technologies (Cloud Computing, Python, Wi-Fi Hacking and Cyber Attacks, Linux and Ubuntu) and discussing their importance.
  • A workshop on Effective English Language Teaching was organized by Ratna Sagar Publications on November 17, 2018 at Fortune Hotel, Jaipur, which was attended by Kamini Jain, TGT (English) with the aim to make teaching and learning process effective and strengthened.
  • Jaipur Foundation Day was celebrated at The City Palace on November 18, 2018 in which students of our school presented folk songs of Rajasthan. Princess Diya Kumari was the Guest of Honour. There was a quiz competition also in which students of our school won prizes for giving right answers.
  • Music workshop on UN World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic victims was organized by NGO Muskan for Road Safety in collaboration with S V Public School, Jaipur, on November 20, 2018 at Ravindra Manch. 12 students of our school along with students of 35 schools presented a thematic cultural event to evoke a human face of Road accidents and give out the message of safe traffic rules.
  • A workshop on Effective English Language Teaching was organized by Orient Black Swan Publications on November 27, 2018 at Hotel Ramada, Jaipur which was attended by Ms. Reena Sharma, TGT (English) with the aim to maintain and raise the standard of education imparted in schools.
  • An orientation program on Need for Organ Donation- Process and Myths was conducted in school by NGOMFJCF (Mohan Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum) on November 27, 2018 for classes IX-XII with the aim to create awareness among the society for Organ and Tissue Donation and transplant for the noble cause.
  • An Orientation program on Role of Technology in Career by UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) was conducted in school by J K Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, on November 27, 2018 for class XI with the aim to introduce importance of technology and its role in solving 17 goals of sustainable development.
  • A Drawing competition FM Ke Rangrej was organized by 3 My FM on November 28, 2018 on the theme Incredible India for classes V-IX. Around 900 students from classes V-IX participated in it and painted the country of their dreams with great zeal and enthusiasm with the aim to incite a deep sense of state pride amongst the children.
  • A workshop on Children Against Child Abuse was held on December 03, 2018 at The Palace School, Jaipur, which was attended by Ms. Neerja Jain, PRT (Science) and      Vandana Jain, TGT (Maths) with the aim to reinforce parenting skills and closely monitor the child's well-being and understand the proper techniques for the evaluation or assessment of a child suspected of having been abused or neglected.
  • An orientation on Career Counselling was organized on December 8, 2018 in school for class XI by The Times of India. Resource Person Mr. Madhusudan Joshi is a counselor at ‘The Chopras’ mainly focussed on various courses available abroad with fees and total cost involved. Students were informed about various career options available abroad after completing school education.
  • School participated in History Festival conducted by The City Palace Museum from December 12–15, 2018. 56 students from classes VIII – IX and XI participated in the series of events viz. Enactment on the theme ‘Varnasystem’, Musical Presentation on the theme – ‘Kabir Ke Dohe’, Dance Presentation on ‘Meera Ki Bhakti’ and Art Gallery (Exhibition) on ‘Bhakti Movement’.
